Since its beginnings as a grassroots initiative in 2005, this much‑loved annual exhibition has grown into a showcase of the incredible talent found across our municipality. The program offers artists who live, work or have a connection to the City of Whittlesea a platform to share their creativity, expand their practice and explore new ideas with the wider community.

In 2026, artists are invited to respond to the theme BELONG.
Belonging is a universal human experience — it draws us toward family, friends and community, and shapes our connection to place. Through shared values, interests and experiences, belonging brings people together and reminds us that we are each part of something larger than ourselves.
